Why I’m retiring I have too much stuff going on at the moment, for those of you that aren’t in the loop I’ve been under a lot of stress with my living situation plus I quit my job so that I could just take some time out and get some things out of the way, I’m approaching the point now where I need to get back into the workplace before I run out of money and part of that includes either selling my own merchandise via the DivinElegy Shop, or trying to develop a following with my Comic/Cartoon strip Marbles the Duck.
Because of this I am stepping down from my projects that aren’t directly supporting me, Marbles is my latest hobby and I take great pleasure in drawing a daily strip which is what I have been doing, I find each and every attempt to make a simfile lately to be both uninspiring and painful, this is partially due to how hot it is here in Australia, I live in a shoebox where it gets at least 10 degrees hotter than it does outside and so my fitness, willingness to play ITG and willingness to make charts that I won’t play until winter is at an all time low.
Still, I don’t want to announce a complete end to my reign, I will still release the odd file now and then since we all get cravings every once in a while, but at least until my life is straightened out this will be my last pack.
On a side note I am also releasing a (fairly) incomplete public beta version of my ITG Theme "Gamz", I will link to the thread when I have made it, otherwise following the youtube video below should link you to it as well as demonstrate all of the things that make it great.
So yeah, I guess for now this is a semi-farewell, I’ll still be lurking and updating the simfile archive with every release that comes out, I’m also making it a thing to keep them updated with mute resyncs too to ensure everything is current.
Holy crap! It’s only been like, 2-WEEKS since my last pack release and already I’ve smashed out another one for everyone to enjoy!
Ponies have been stepped to death, this has become a well-known fact and before you go speculating; no I am not a brony, however if you’re man enough to play Lazy Town charts then there’s no reason why you shouldn’t check these out, they’re all remixes after all.
So let’s get to it! I have a 10-song lineup for all of you…
From the one of the most well-known and respected step artists to ever exist and his slightly taller, slightly older, slightly Australian brother comes forth a lovely blend of old-style, new-style, bro-style and dude-style.
Ladies and Gentlemen… Enjoy this trip!

So after a little bit of experimenting I've decided that I find making these sort of charts more interesting and enjoyable, so I've come back for more and unlike the last pack this is going to be thoroughly tested and have more songs than before.
Once again please note that this is strictly a gimmicks pack and even though the song may not need gimmicks it’s going to have them in weird and messed up ways. Given the nature and stability of foreground charts there is a likelihood that some charts will not work with some versions of Stepmania/OpenITG, I believe they should all work with ITG2 however I am unsure whether the different revisions will affect it, load them onto your machines at your own risk, the worst case scenario is that the machine will just freeze or restart so best to play it on PC first to see if that will be the case.
Expert: 10 I chart running very slow to begin with at 45 bpm, it gradually speeds up to 90, then 140 bpm, contains mainy stutters and a couple of 800000000bpm gimmicks (essentially the same as the 1000000bpm gimmick except it ensures that the current second doesn’t increase by 0.001 over a few measures).
Expert: 10 This song is so weird, it uses a recycled bpm gimmick similar to The Time from my last pack along with a similar 800000000bpm gimmick used in All The Things She Said above.
Expert: 10 It was more of a necessity that I stepped this chart and since I still had foregrounds on my mind I had a go at incorporating some spongebob-inspired fish into this little number, I think it turned out pretty well and the steps aren’t half bad too, as far as "gimmix" go though it’s pretty lacking but oh wells. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 11 I had to tweak this a fair bit to avoid the player getting motion sick as this chart is designed to distract the player and detract their attention away from the arrows with darkness, the first half of the chart is fairly introductory in order to get you used to everything and then the last minute of it is a stuttery stream. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 10 Starts off with a few bouncy stream segments with a few stutters here and there all mashed in with a few background changes for added effect, a bit later on it recycles The Time‘s gimmick but is far more challenging and offputting.
Expert: 10 A really fun chart, I decided to try a different sort of gimmick with the mine display since it felt suiting, the only really hard part to read is the mine-to-hold conversion since there’s a step at the end of each hold, but it’s at the end of all of those holds so it’s not hard to remember, it’s really fun to play without bar and to do all the hands to, the little faces lip-syncing in the background provides entertainment for all to see.
Expert: 10 I’m personally not a huge fan of the cut I did but at the same time I couldn’t think of ways to make it better without making it really long, oh well… This is a run-of-the-mill stoppy/stutter chart focusing more on the background music in terms of steps but projecting stutter gimmicks on the vocals, you’ll either love it or hate it. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 12 I think the best thing I could possibly do is pay a tribute to one of the people who helped me out immensely with getting foreground animations to work, heavily inspired by Kyrtune’s Witch’s Ball chart from SRT 6 I have made this little number using BlazBlue’s Rachel along with a sped up version of Rachel’s theme, unlike Kytsune’s chart though it’s not a battle between you two, she just wants to screw with you until the very end. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 11 Another little mine experiment to represent a glimmering star shower with a few shooting stars added to the mix, combine that with something similar to Masterwok’s Colorful Cookie Gimmick (for obvious reasons) it turns an average chart into a whole new experience, the glimmering background changes are just the icing on the cake really. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 10 Bit of a change of format from the original idea I ran with for this pack, the foreground effects for this chart are now represented in a semi-3D perspective with tennis balls bouncing off the screen to the wall in the background, as an added bonus it is also available to be changed to 3D (generic Red/Blue 3D-glasses 3D), to give it an added hint of depth. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 09 This is a V2 of a chart I released for Space Jam, I always wanted to actually make it rain in the chart and now that I know how I thought I’d give it a go. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 13 Woop woop, another V2, I felt this was lacking something the first time around and so I took a bit of inspiration from the Mario Bros Blitz flash animation and threw in a few of my own ideas too. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 10 Screw your rules, we’re going 100% foregrounds with this chart, the targets are now centered and are represented by circular plates, all the arrows are now represented by (you guessed it), Doughnuts! You can keep your timing easily since each doughnut is coloured to its respective note, as for the speed, well, it’s 100 bpm and so I’ve got something a bit faster than 5x overhead but slower than 5.5x, sorry for all the people that would read it on 6x but that speed is too fast for some people and so this is a happy medium, hope you’re all used to ITG by now because there’s nothing to indicate the direction of the arrow except for its position. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 11 Yeeeeeah kickass Kirby Remix (don’t worry Kommisar I’ll get to yours too), there were sort of too many foreground possibilities to do with this that I decided against it in fear of ruining the chart, it’s a very stuttery run with plenty of 32nd-note bursts scattered throughout, definitely a difficult one to FA even without the gimmicks.
Expert: 10 There isn’t really a lot that I could do with this song in the end but I gave it a shot anyway, most of it is just little stop gimmicks here and there followed by the mass-combo gimmick at the very end of the chart.
Expert: 10 Bit of an obscure gag with the foregrounds since Ukigumo roughly translates to Drifting Clouds, I decided to make a chart similar to my old nightcore stepping days and slowly darken the top of the screen over the targets to make it look like the game is blasting off into space. Note: Only supports 640×480 resolution since using SCREEN CENTER X and Y would be problematic for some stepmania users.
Expert: 11 I am never going to make a chart like this again, it’s far too demanding of ITGs resources and because of that is more than likely going to lag on most machines it is played on, I’m keeping the chart in the pack simply to say "Look what I wasted my time doing" and, if you want to it’s still playable on keyboard provided your computer isn’t slow.
Expert: 09 Creepy is a bit difficult to pull off in ITG but I gave it a go anyway, the chart features a spotlight system similar to having the fade in and fade out mod set except it also hides the targets and your life bar, combine that with random stuff appearing on the screen and you have a distracting and slightly creepy file, however you might want to read it 1 speed slower.
First of all I’d like to thank MasterWok for taking the time to work on this pack with me, he not only produced most of the files (30 in a month), but also helped ensure that the sync between both mine and his were consistent, this is my first collab with anyone (as most of you should know), and I don’t think I could have had anyone better to work with straight up, now then for all you excited youngsters out there wanting to know what’s in this little bag of joy take a look at the song list below:
So what are you waiting for? Get on this thing and let’s KICK START 2011 with some phresh beatz!
